We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jeffrey Sherman has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Jeff brings over thirty years of experience in the scientific instrument industry, and we are excited to leverage his knowledge in support of Telescope’s strategic mission.
Telescope will initially receive one year of funding to evaluate the utilization and sequestration of CO2 within the lithium brine extraction and reinjection processes developed by Standard Lithium.
We are launching “Telescope Automation”, a division of the Company that develops automated systems to accelerate chemical and biopharmaceutical research and development.
Under this division, we launch our first product, the Direct Inject Liquid Chromatography (DILC) platform, an innovative instrument for real-time, immediate analysis of chemical reactions.
At our annual general meeting on April 28, 2022, Henry Dubina will be nominated as an additional independent director of our Company.
Mr. Dubina has +20 years of experience in chemical technology and was the president and Strategic Business Unit Head of Mettler-Toledo AutoChem from 1999 until his retirement in 2022.
“Telescope Industries” is a new division of the Company dedicated to resolving process and manufacturing inefficiencies in the chemical industry. For its first project, Telescope Industries has been engaged by Hatch Ltd. (“Hatch”), a global engineering, project management, and professional services firm. Hatch has contracted Telescope to perform a series of physical chemistry studies leveraging Telescope’s unique analytical toolsets.
Telescope has engaged Translational Life Sciences Inc. (“TLS”) to evaluate the potential therapeutic effects of Telescope’s proprietary, psilocybin-like novel chemical entities.
